ASLU Faculty Contributing to Global Research
We proudly recognize one of our faculty members, Dr. Emmanuel Romero, who has recently contributed to and published in the book New Literacies in the Age of AI: Ethics, Teaching, and Writing, released in December 2025.
Dr. Romero is the author of Chapter 2, titled:
Chapter 2. Digital Literacy and Teacher Training in Artifi cial Intelligence
In this chapter, Dr. Romero explores digital literacy and AI-focused teacher training in higher education in Latin America and the Caribbean, highlighting the need to better align teacher preparation programs with current digital and ethical demands.
The book is open access, allowing students, educators, and researchers worldwide to engage with this work without subscription barriers. We invite our academic community to read and share this publication.
