
Diego Mauricio Fino Garzón
Diego Mauricio Fino Garzón is an innovation and information management specialist with extensive experience in higher education, digital transformation, and user-centered service design across Latin America, North America, and Europe. He currently serves as International Program Coordinator at San Ignacio University in Miami, Florida, where he also teaches as adjunct faculty.
With a strong academic background, Diego holds a Master’s degree in Innovation and Management from EAN University (Colombia), an MBA specializing in Technology Management from Nebrija University (Spain), and a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Library Science from Pontifical Xavierian University (Colombia).
He has held academic positions at San Ignacio de Loyola University (Peru), Pontifical Xavierian University, and the University of Antioquia, and has delivered lectures and workshops in more than ten countries, including Greece, Chile, Mexico, and the United States.
Diego’s professional experience includes leadership roles in organizations such as Ignite Online and e-Tech Solutions Corp, where he led digital innovation projects for institutions like the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. His publications and international speaking engagements reflect his expertise in Design Thinking, Lean UX, and innovation for knowledge-based organizations, making him a prominent figure in the fields of education and information management.
