Edward J. Amador
Edward J. Amador, MPS is an executive-level professional with over 20 years of experience in business and IT operations, specializing in call center management, higher education administration, and process improvement. He holds a Master of Professional Studies in Executive Management and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from St. Thomas University (United States), as well as an Associate of Science in Cybersecurity from St. Petersburg College (USA). He is currently completing a Doctorate in Education and Leadership at St. Thomas University.
Amador currently serves as Vice President of IT Operations at Synchrony Financial, one of the largest financial institutions in the United States, where he leads loyalty platform operations, cybersecurity initiatives, and process control systems. His previous leadership roles include Director of Higher Education Programs for the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Director of Student Experience at Mount Washington College, and Associate Director of Admissions at Kaplan University.
He has earned distinctions such as the Department of Defense and National Security Agency Excellence in Cyber Defense Award (2024) and the Spirit of Kaplan Award (2012). His expertise bridges education, technology, and business innovation with a strong focus on leadership and continuous improvement.
