Emmanuel Lisandro Romero Santana, PhD
Dr. Emmanuel Lisandro Romero Santana is an educator, researcher, and academic advisor specializing in educational innovation, neuroeducation, and emerging technologies. He holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of the Americas and the Caribbean (UNAC), Mexico, and completed postdoctoral research in Artificial Intelligence, Education, and Research at the International University of Knowledge (UNIVERIS).
Dr. Romero has earned multiple master’s degrees, including in Mathematics Didactics (CEU Cardenal Herrera University, Spain), Neuroeducation (UNIR, Spain), Educational Leadership and Emerging Technologies (MIU City University, USA), and Learning, Cognition, and Educational Development (UNIR, Mexico). His academic background also includes specialization in Environmental Education and Curriculum Development.
He currently serves as Teaching and Pedagogical Coordinator at the José Luis Gómez Orbe Educational Center under the Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (MINERD), and collaborates as an Academic Advisor at CESUMA University (Mexico) and Via Thesis (Perú).
Recognized as a Meritorious Teacher (2022–2023), Dr. Romero has received multiple awards for his dedication to youth leadership and educational excellence. His research focuses on artificial intelligence in education, digital pedagogy, and teacher professional development, promoting innovation and transformation in the learning process.
