Jorge A. Pazmiño, PhD
Dr. Jorge A. Pazmiño is an accomplished higher education professional and administrator with over 15 years of experience in academic leadership, enrollment management, and student success initiatives. He holds a Ph.D. in Leadership – Higher Education from Bellarmine University (USA), an M.S. in Managing Information Technology and an M.B.A. from Sullivan University, and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Louisville.
Currently, Dr. Pazmiño serves as Director of Graduate and Executive Education Programs at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, where he leads curriculum innovation, corporate partnerships, and student engagement strategies. Under his leadership, the university achieved a 125% increase in recruitment goals and generated over $3.5 million in revenue growth.
His professional experience spans roles in admissions, project management, and academic advising at Sullivan University, as well as earlier corporate experience with JPMorgan Chase & Co. and military service in the U.S. Army, where he trained and led soldiers during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Dr. Pazmiño is also a published author, contributing to the book The Proper Role of Higher Education in a Democratic Society (IGI Global, 2021), where his chapter explores student employment as a transformative tool for civic and professional development in higher education.
