Santiago Nájera Acuña, PhD
Dr. Santiago Nájera Acuña is an economist, lawyer, and business executive with over 18 years of experience in finance, strategy, logistics, and risk management across the public and private sectors in Latin America. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (CENTRUM) and master’s degrees in Finance, Operations Research, Applied Statistics, and Total Quality Management.
Currently, Dr. Nájera serves as Operational Planning Manager at PRONACA (Ecuador), overseeing production lines that generate more than 60% of the corporation’s revenue. He is also Secretary General of the Ecuadorian Logistics Association (ASOLOG) and an international lecturer and consultant in supply chain management, quality systems, and business strategy.
In academia, he has taught graduate and doctoral programs at leading universities, including Keiser University (USA), Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, Escuela Politécnica del Litoral, and Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR). His research and publications cover topics such as leadership, strategic management, and productivity, with multiple articles in the INNOVA Research Journal.
Fluent in Spanish, English, German, and French, Dr. Nájera integrates academic rigor, strategic insight, and practical expertise to foster organizational excellence and sustainable development.
