Silvio Tracanelli, PhD

Dr. Silvio Tracanelli is an accomplished academic leader, educator, and management professional with more than 30 years of experience in higher education, technology, and business administration. He holds a Doctorate in Management Sciences (Ph.D.) from Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín (Venezuela), an MBA from Universidad Rafael Urdaneta, and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar—all evaluated as equivalent to U.S. regionally accredited degrees.

Dr. Tracanelli most recently served as Associate Dean of the Graduate School at San Ignacio University (Miami, USA), where he oversaw doctoral and master’s programs in education, business, and entrepreneurship. During his tenure, he achieved a 100% student and faculty retention rate, led the DEAC accreditation process, and implemented curriculum reforms that enhanced academic quality and student engagement.

He has also served as an Adjunct Professor at institutions including Florida National University, Ana G. Méndez University, Westfield Business School, and Humboldt International University, teaching graduate-level courses in strategic management, entrepreneurship, and business analytics.
